OUR BEACHES.
I read with interest the letter from "Doctor" in the "Star" outlining the conditions relating to Mission Bay. I disagree with his contention that Mission Bay is
"Auckland's most convenient beach." for Judge's Bay is one mile from the 0.P.0. and has as a background the delightful Pamell Park. I am also willing to wager that Judges Bay Beach has more filth, empty paint tins, shavings, etc, and is more neglected than Mission Bay. We are not even blessed with a men's dressing shed—but still "around the corner "behind the tree - ' prevails. Why? RESIDENT.
