It shows the trend of the market.over twelve months for a comprehensive list of securities, at the same time indicating the latest movements, namely, from a week ago to the date of compilation. The rate of interest obtainable to present-day purchasers is also presented, the calculation based on the latest diwdends. Where the dividend is paid in sterling exchange is added. Since last review business was active till the close of the week, but slackened off in the last few days. There has been a marked easing m Government stocks, and many Australian issues failed to hold the recent
