Husband's Murder of .Imbecile Child. BEATS SENTENCE COMMUTED. (Received 9.30 a.m.) PERTH, this day. The death sentence passed on Michael r O'Sullivan for the wilful murder of his seven-year-old son was commuted yesterday to imprisonment for life. The evidence disclosed that O'Sullivan took the boy out in a motor car and shot him because he was mentally deficient, incurable, and a great strain upon his mother. After taking the ■corpse to the police station, the father gave himself up.
