Minister's Selection for Post Of Governor-General. SOUTH AFRICAN VIEWS. (Received 9.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, November 17. English-speaking circles, despite personal approval of Mr. Patrick Duncan as Governor-General of the Union, regard the appointment as a political blunder. The "Cape' 'rimes" says the selection of Governors-General from the ranks of political parties might soon result seriously.
