AUSTRIA AND HUNGARY.

VIENNA, November 13. The conference between representatives of Italy, Austria and Hungary has ended.

A communique has been issued stating that the conference affirmed the right of Austria and Hungary to rearm and that the two countries recognise the Italian conquest of Abyssinia and will be permitted to participate in the exploitation of that country.

SANCTIONS SILENCE.

ITALY WILL REMEMBER.

I ROME, November 13. [ It is officially announced that there will be a three minutes' silence throughcut Italy on November 18, on the occasion of the anniversary of the imposition of sanctions by the League of Nations. This, it is explained, is in order that those attending the unveiling of sanctionist tablets may meditate and remember.
