TE AROHA TRIALS.
Mungatoon and Libr*. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") TE AROHA, this day. The gallops at Te Aroha this morning took place on the inner grass, the reverse waj r round, and horses were going against a strong head wind down the straight. ' I Golden Sheila moved freely over two. rounds, increasing the pace over the last ! three furlongs. Black Musk and Fei-Mah bowled along attractively over a circuit on the plough. Mungatoon (Kees'.ng) and Libra (McGuire) executed a good gallop.' Mungatoon went off from the mile post, and was joined by Libra at the five [ furlongs. They ran together , throughout the last part, with Libra a head in front at the finish, the five furlongs being run | in 1.4 3-5. Munga toon's time for the mile j was 1.4 G. Bonny Song skipped over half a mile in 525, and Queen Lu worked solidly over a mile. Mungacre (McGuire) and Solaria (Keesing) were associated over five furlongs. 'Hie former jumped out fast, but was quickly joined by Solaria, and they finished in line in 1.4 4-5. Gay Rose worked solidly over a round on the plough.
