MANIAC YOUTH.
Burned to Death by French Police. FARM BUILDING BATTLE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) PARIS, October 23. Paul Uglietto, the manic youth who killed seven people, mainly woodcutters and their families, in the forests of the Basses Alpes earlier this week, took refuge in a farm building near Digne. He be<jan shooting when police surrounded it. They set fire to tlie structure in an attempt to smoke him out, but he was burnt to death.
