NEW WOMEN'S CLUB.

There was a good muster of New Women's Club members on Friday afternoon in their temporary home in the Fabian Club rooms. In the absence of the president, Mrs. G. Dyson (vice-presi-dent) occupied the ;hair. The subject for the afternoon was a talk by Mr. Dale, of the Government Tourist Department, on "Some of the Beauty Spots of the North Island." Names were called for of those willing to assist in a working bee in preparation for settling in the new club rooms, the date to be decided later. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. J. W. Aughton and Mrs. H. Deneker.
