TRAINER HURT. While superintending the work of his team at the Hawera racecourse yesterday morning the well-known trainer Oney Cox received a severe kick on the upper part of the leg from/the gelding Fair Day, the horse's shoe cutting deeply into the flesh and causing the loss of a lot of blood. Dr. Fitzgerald was called and attended to the injured man, who, though not seriously hurt, will be an invalid for a few days at least.
