WAIHOU VALLEY MURDER. POLICE LIVE AT HOMESTEAD. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. Although four and a half months have elapsed since Mr. Ernest Severin Nelson was found murdered in the drive of his Waihou Valley property, the police are still vigilantly prosecuting a search for tie killer. Detective-Sergeant Walsh is in charge of the operations, and has with him Detective J. Nalder, of Whangarei, an acting-detective and a constable. The party are stationed at the Nelson residence, which has been their temporary home for a long period. The murder took place on the night of June 9.
