AUCKLAND CONTROL BOARD. THIRD GRADE RE-PLAY ORDERED. At the meeting of the Auckland Rugby League Board of Control last evening, Mr. G. Grey Campbell presiding, a considerable amount of routine business was dealt with. The secretary of the schoolboys' management advised that the Richmond Club teams won the senior and intermediate school championships. An invitation to members of the board to attend the school's gala on Saturday was received with thanks. It was decided to hold the annual trophy night on November 16, the venue to be yet decided. Lengthy consideration was given to the appeal of City Club against the decision of the junior management in depriving City and Glenora third grade teams of match points in the knock-out semi-final. The teams were severely cautioned, and a re-play was ordered. Mr. P. Rogers was appointed as referee. It was decided to send a letter of condolence to Mrs. F. Neighbour, of Parnell, in the loss of her husband, an ex-Devonport and representative player. Registration: W. J. Murray (Heme Bay) to' Ponsonby United.
