INDUSTRIAL EFFICIENCY.
SUPPORT FOR NEW BILIj, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, tliis day. In an interview, Mr. Lan Matheson, president of tlio Wellington Manufacturers' Association, said tlio association was particularly pleased to learn of two far-reaching amendments to the Industrial Efficiency Bill, announced by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, in the House of Representatives.
The amendment to provide for the consent of an industry before final adoption of a plan made the bill one to which his organisation could give its full support and approval. Many members of his _ association would look forward to their industries being co-ordinated under the bill in a manner which would react to the great benefit of the workers, the public and themselves.
