DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

The sixth monthly social and dance of the Daisy Chain Club, held in the cltibrooms on Tuesday evening, was well attended by members and their friends, and as usual proved a great success. Excellent dance music was provided by Mrs. Dye. The social committee, which comprises Mesdames Wliiteman, Boyce, Horne and Hogg, served a dainty supper, and were the organisers of the evening. The programme included songs by Mr. Francis and Mr. Roberts, and a skipping rope display by Mrs. Barfoot and Miss Irene Long. The spot and Monte Carlo waltzes werci won by Mrs. Mclntyre and Mr. Cairns and Miss Mitcham and Mr. Teirney, jun. The duties of master of ceremonies were again ably carried out by Mr. W. Hogg. Those successful in the live hundred card to'irnament were Mrs." Grimstone and Mrs. Milden, the winners of the lucky numbers being Mrs. Porteous and Mr. Arndt.
