SOCIAL GATHERINGS.

The" Auckland Toy Dog Club held an afternoon at George Court's tearoom. The prizewinners were Mrs. Sanft and Mrs. Joseph. Amongst those present were: Mesdames F. Sanft, George, Hart, A. L. Desgranges, H. Sheldon, A. Stanley, J. Josephs, J. Bell and Miss Gwen Da vies. • • • • A bridge party was. held in George Court's tearoom recently. Poppies aim lupins made the tea tables gay. Among those ])resent were: Mesdames G. Patterson, J. T. Gill, J. Parr, A. S. Burgess, J. E. Cowcll, J. Kirkwood, W. Wallace, A. Craig, E. G. Conell, E. Bold, I«n Bray, J. B. Crawford.
