From a barrier start Prince Rangi and the Oration-Rarakau gelding jumped away well, and ran half a mile in 54 3-ss. On the inner plough were Maxown, Torch, Tonnerre, White Flower, Sweet Rose, Superior Guard, Delrain, JNamafaa, Musquil, Cheval de Yolee, Illuniinagh, the Ruapapa—Sibford gelding and the gelding by Vaals from Gold Bud. A. Cook, with Gallio, Jonathan, Galilee> Rulette, Cylarros and Girl Pat, and K. Savage, with Loombination are to leave to-morrow morning by road.

SCRATCHINGS. Cricket and Deficit were scratched for their engagements at the Auckland meeting at 12.27 p.m. to-day.
