MINERS' PENSIONS.

The present Government promised all pensions would be raised, yet neither miners' nor their wives' pensions have been raised, though the cost of living has increased and some sufferers have been getting steadily worse for some years through want of a lot of nourishment, medicines and comforts. How can these sufferers pay their rent and get the necessaries of life out of the present pensions? It is totally impossible, yet we, as their wives, have to watch them suffering, and arc not able to get the things to help them.
