THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.
The Thames Girls' Club danca, held at the Druids' Hall, North Street, Newton. was a pleasant and successful function. Mrs. Bowver, vice-president, acted as hostess, in the absence of Mrs. J. Hubber, president. Committee members helping with the serving of a dainty supper were: Mesdames H. Stribbing (convener), W. S. Miller (secretary), H. Thorburn (treasurer). McPherson, Miss MacLeod (vice-president), -Mesdames L. Nieholls, G. Davison, I. Wright, G. Andrews, R. Benjamin, A. Sutherland, Misses K. Rowlings, C. K. Wilton. Prizes were won by Miss Johns and Mr. V. Smith, Mr. G. Heiulley, Mrs. R. Benjamin Mr. A r . Smith, Miss Helmbretcl), Miss McNamara and Mr. Japland. Other guests present were: Mesdames Clemins, Cutler, Lucas,.Steven, C. Smith, Davis, Hitchens, H. Gibson, Loudon, Nears, Wood, Swan. R. Wheeler. Misses McNamara, K. Johns. A. Wiltshire, Davis, F.
