THE GOOD COMPANIONS.
The Good Companions' Social Club held its weekly meeting in the Unity Buildings 011 Thursday last, a large attendance of members attending, Mesdames Addis and King were the hostesses, and Mrs. Godsall vice-presi-dent. Mrs, Faigan arid Miss Kell supervised the games and competitions. Mr. Metcalfe sang "When Other Lips," and items were also given by Mr. Robin Son. Mr. i Russell, the, president, ; in evei'y/Way to niake life evening a success. ■'■The prize-winners were Mrs. Wolfe and Miss Webster. Mrs. Reeves provided an excellent supper.
