To the West End School, Palmerston North, falls the distinction of Raining for the 1935-36 season the highest number of awards of any club or. school affiliated to the New Zealand branch of the Royal Life-Saving Society. The school will hold the Bamford Cup for the year. It'gained IG3 points, Christchurch Technical was*" second with 130, and Hamilton High third with 104.
