HARBOUR BRIDGE

I have been watching the "Auckland Star" ever since the City Council took up the extraordinary attitude that the coiibti uction of the harbour bridge would not be a benefit to Auckland" and I have not seen a protest. True the bridge would be a greater asset to the North Shore than to the city, but it would be a very big asset to the city side too. To add insult to injury the North Shore boroughs were then asked to contribute to the proposed Waitakere Ridge Road. I am a resident of the city side,"with all my property interests on'this side. DISGUSTED AUCKLANDER.
