SOLDIERS' WAR PENSIONS.
I quite agree with all "Another One" says regarding soldiers' war pensions. T have known a soldier to be medically examined by two, and three, and even four of the leading medical men of this city, and get medical reports from each one saving lie was suffering from war disability and unfit for any work.. This same man has had to go before a pension doctor and be examined, and has been "turned down flat." Tt seems to me there must be something wrong somewhere when a pension doctor's medical report is taken against the reports of leading doctors of the city. I maintain that the Pensions Department should furnish the soldier with the pension doctor's medical report, seeing the soldier lias produced reports from the leading doctors of the city. I think it is time the Minister of Defence gave us for pension doctors medical men who would be more humane and sympathetic towards the. Diggers and try and fulfil some of the promises which were made to the men between 1914 and 1918. ANOTHER. DIGGER.
