WELLINGTON, Tuesday. After considering a letter from the Canterbury Centre concerning its application to have V. P. Boot's 880 yards performance on March 24 declared a record the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to night decided to adhere to its former decision not to grant tlie record.
