N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. TOURNAMENT OPENS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Tuesday. The New Zealand badminton championwhip tournament opened to-night with matches in handicap sections and C grade championships. Leading exponents of tlio sport are included in the 153 entries no far received, but probably further entries will yet come In. No matches of importance were played to-night.
