CATHOLIC WOMEN.

The monthly At Home last evening given by the Catholic women, was held in the rboms of the Catholic Women's League,' and was attended by a large number of members and friends. Bright log fires and fragrant spring blossoms made the main hall most attractive and colourful. Mrs. M. Pilling outlined the future activities of the league, and •invited the new members to join the various circles. The mission report was presented by Miss Scruby, and that of the welfare and other circles by : Miss V. Walsh. Enjoyable was ths. musical programme 'which comprised songs by Miss Edna Higgins and Miss Anderson, pianoforte duets by Mrs. Everitt and Miss M. Higgins, and monologues by Miss M. Higgins.
