DRESS IN CHURCH.
SHORTS NO BAR FOR GIRLS. (.Received 10 a.m.) LONDON", August 30. Bishop W. G. Wliittingham says that girls in cycling shorts should be as welcome in church as anybody. He adds there is no reason why women should be required to wear hats in church if they do not desire to. People behaving decently should be received courteously in any dress in which they can with decency be seen outside the church.
