PENSIONS.
When the Labour Government came into power it stated all pensions were to be increased. A lot of correspondence has ensued. 1101:1 pensioners who have never contributed anything: towards a pension fund, but nothing' appears to be done for widows of deceased members of the Public Service whose husbands contributed to the fund. These widows draw the miserable allowance of £33 per annum. Does the Government intend increasing this to the £1 5/ for widows or even to the £1 for old age pensioners? This should be brought before Parliament. G.
