NEW LINER AWATEA.

BROADCASTS ARRANGE®.

The Union S.S. Company has made I arrangements for a special broadcast from stations IYA, 2YA, 3YA and 4YA of a radio telephone conversation with Captain Davey and others on the liner ,Awatea next Tuesday evening. The broadcast will commence at eight o'clock and will last for about twenty minutes.

The Avvatea, a motor vessel of 14,000 tpris, has been built on the Clyde for, the Sydney-Auckland-Wellington passenger trade and is due at- Wellington' on September 3.
