TRAVEL CLUB.

At the weekly morning tea held by the Auckland Travel Club in the Milne and Choyce reception hall yesterday the speakers were Miss E. N. Sandes, of Dorset, England, who spoke on archaeology, and Mrs. C. D. Dixon, of China, who told of some of her experiences there. The director Mrs. Victor Macky, presided. Floral shoulder sprays were presented by Lady Wilson to the guests of honour, who ' were Lady Wavertree (England), Mrs. Dixon and Miss Sandes. Mr. Keiji Ascada, of Japan, gave a short address concerning the Olympic Games which will be held in Japan in 1940.

Among the overseas and out-of-town guests were: —Miss Joan Howley (Australia), Mrs. Dcrdge (Rotorua), Mr. Rudolf Cerny (Salzburg, Austria],-Mrs. H.
