COTTON-GROWING PROSPECTS. (Received 11 a.in.) FREMANTLE, this day.
Mr. Latham Witliall, newlv-appointed secretary of the Associated Chambers of Manufacturers in Australia, who arrived from England by the Orford, said that arrangements had been made for an important group of Lancashire cotton and textile- manufacturers to establish works in Australia. This would give an impetus to cotton-growing in Aus-. tralia. r
