GOLF AFTERNOON.
An afternoon in honour of Miss Betty Atkinson, who is shortly to be married, was given on the links of the Waitemata Golf Club by the lady members on Saturday. Prior to afternoon tea the club captain, Mrs. Carl Prime, presented the guest of honour with a set of initialled teaspoons. A putting competition was won by Miss Eileen Hagan. Dowell, Berry, Jess Drummond, Natalie Burgess, Peggy Trays, Pauline Woodroffe, Hazel Corntliwaite, Marjorie Kealy, Mavis Cooper, Muriel Hill, Potter, Cameron, Sloane.
