'YOUTH FOR CHRIST'
AUCKLAND CAMPAIGN.
CHURCH PREPARATIONS.
COMMENCEMENT TO-MORROW. After weeks of intensive preparation and preliminary activity the "Youth for Christ" campaign will be launched in full strength in Auckland churches to-morrow. That Christianity is no mere "belief," but the key to the solution of all problems —personal, national and international —will be the main lesson of the campaign, and the aim is to bring this lesson strikingly to the attention of the community, and of youth in particular. The churches generally will conduct the campaign within their own spheres, and there will be a number of combined meetings in addition. These will include daily lunch-hour meetings in the Lewis Eady hall at 12.15 and 1.15 p.m., and a procession of witness and mass meeting in the Town Hall on the afternoon of Sunday, August 30.

Conducted in St. Matthew's Church, the mission will be inaugurated to-morrow afternoon, when Bishop Hilliard will be welcomed by Archbishop Averill. There will be evening services in the church during the week, and in the following week most of the Anglican churches will hold mission services in their own parishes, co-operating with other demoninations in combined meetings.
