STOWAWAY CHARGED.

DEPORTATION ORDER • MADE.

DUNEDIN, Wednesday.

In the Police Court to-day, George Lawsoii Pritchard, aged 30, an Australian, pleaded guilty to stowing away on the City of Delhi and landing in New Zealand without a permit. The accused was found on the vessel, which arrived yesterday from Melbourne. It was asked that he be deported by the same vessel, sailing for Lyttelton and thence to Australia, this afternoon. A deportation order was made, with an order that the master of the vessel pay the expenses involved in the prosecution.
