BIRKENHEAD DANCE
The Calliope Harriers held a successful dance in the Victoria Hall last Saturday. A large crowd' was present, and the hall was gaily decorated. The winners of the Monte Carlo were Mrs. R. Salt and Mr. Armitage. Among those present were: Mesdames K. Banbury, Nesbit, Good, Salt, Appleton, Ivnowles, Misses J. Marbeck, L. Usbakoff, E. Smith, E. Henderson, M. Woodward, G. Potter, V. Watkinson,' J. Watkinson, Canldrey. G. Drumniond Good, Waller, Hazehvood, Logie, V. Casey. Bently, Pugh. J. Gilfillon. A. Newman, M. Cook, Chetvwn. R. Dixon, J. Pugh, G. Howath. J. 'Salt. Bland. J. Farrington, E. Pugh, B. Hazelwood and Lanigan.
