MUSEUM LECTURE.
An illustrated lecture entitled "Marine Life of Auckland in the Geological Past" will be given by Mr. A. W. B. Powell in the library of the Auckland War Memorial Museum on Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The lectures will deal with the extinct kinds of marine animals preserved in local strata, and the interesting inferences resulting from their study.
