CIVIC RECEPTION.

ENGLISH FOOTBALLERS. TOURING LEAGUE TEAM. Arrangements have been made for a civic reception to be given to the members of the English Rugby League team next Monday. The team, which is now on the way to Auckland from Sydney by the liner Monterey, is due on Saturday morning, and on the afternoon of that day the first match of the New Zealand portion of the tour will be played at Carlaw Park against an Auckland team.
