MORTGAGE REVISION.
BILL NEXT WEEK. PRICE CONTROL MEASURE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Krporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The caucus consideration of the bill to adjust mortgages was completed this morning, when the Prime Minister, the lit. Hon. M. J. Savage, said that the bill would be introduced towards the middle of next week. The measure was of a complicated nature," he said, and its consideration by caucus had taken several days. The Prevention of Profiteering Bill would probably be introduced to-morrow, in order that the second reading debate might be opened on Tuesday. To-day the House is considering the Finance* Bill, and a late sitting is likely.
