The personnel of the board's committees was being considered, and the exchange arose over the members of the first of tliem, the building committee. A motion had been moved, that the name of Mr. J. Waddell should bp deleted and that of Dr. J. P. Hastings be substituted. After the matter had been discussed the chairman called for a division. ' "Shall it be by show of hands?" asked Mr. Wood. "Yes, let it be in the open," returned Mr. Parvin. The Chairman: Do not make aspersions like that. Mr. Parvin: I will. The Chairman: Xo, Mr. Parvin. Mr. Parvin returned that he would if he wanted to and he would not be stopped. "If I receive any more statements of that nature, I will call the member to order," said the chairman. Mr. Parvin: You can do it. The Chairman: 1 will do it. And there the matter ended. The membership of each committee was warmly debated. Mrs. M. M. Dreaver and Mrs. A.
