NEW FIRE ALARMS.
MODERNISATION IN LONDON.

RUGBY, July 20.
A scheme for modernisation of street fire alarms will come before the London Comity Council next week 011 the recommendation of its lire brigade committee. Proposals envisage introduction of the "closed circuit" system, which is largely automatic in action.
