MASTER SHOWMEN'S UNION
MEETING HELD YESTERDAY, A special meeting of master showmen was held yesterday afternoon at the Palace Theatre to consider the forming of a Master Showmen's Union. Mr. J. Graham presided. Questions affecting th<? welfare of showmen generally were discussed and rules were drawn up for consideration and adoption. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. J. Graham; secretary, Mr. H. Hoodruffe, committee, Messrs. H. Foster (Wellington), R. Strong (Palmerston North), F. Budd (Wanganui), R. Preston (Whangarei), M. J. O'Connor (Auckland), R. Genders (Northern Wairoa). Sixty members were enrolled.
