WAITEMATA POWER.

INCREASED REVENUE,

BUSY THREE MONTHS,

All increase in revenue of, £2202 for tho quarter was shown in the report of the manager, Mr. A. Main, presented at to-day's meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board. The position was considered entirely satisfactory.

Tho report stated that 210 new consumers, 04 ranges, (12 water-heaters. 11 milking motors, and 43 industrial motors had been connected to the board's system. Consumers now totalled 11,31(>. The quarter had been an extremely busy one. The ordering of materials, and the engineering surveys and canvasses of tho Rodney County and various districts had entailed a great deal of preliminary work. If the recommendations contained in tho report were adopted, an immediate start would be made 011 the erection of 30 miles of high-tension line, with attendant low-tension lines, into the Rodney, Makarau, Dairy Flat and Warkworth districts. 111 addition, it was hoped to complete the canvass and commence the erection of another nine miles of line to Orewa, Red Beach and tho Whangaparaoa Peninsula at the end of August.
