KING RECEIVES VISITORS. British Official Wireless. (Received 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 19. The King on Friday received in audicnce Engineer Vice-Admiral Sir Harold Brown on his appointment as an additional member of the Army Council to be responsible for co-ordinating and expediting the production of munitions for the Army and of those munitions which the War Office supplies to other services. His Majesty also received BrigadierGeneral Sir Alexander Ross, president of the Canadian Legion. Sir Alexander is leader of the 0000 Canadian pilgrims, the majority of whom have sailed from Montreal, to attend the unveiling by the King of the Vimy monument on Hill 145 to 00,000 Canadians who died in the Great War.
