POWER SUPPLY.
EXTENSION REQUESTED

TAURANGA, Saturday
A request for an extension of the supply of power to the Pongakawa Valley, was received by the Tauranga Electric Power Board at its montlilv meeting from .the Tobacco Growers' Association of that district. It was explained that there were 40 dwellings ill the Pongakawa settlement. It was decided to ask the Department of Agriculture if it would give a revenue guarantee for the extension of the power ■upply to the district.
