MONOWAI'S CRUISE.
The liner Monowai arrived at Lcvuka at daylight yesterday. Strong trade winds prevented the vessel from berthing at the wharf, and passengers were taken ashore in boats. The programme of entertainment arranged by the residents included native dances and visits to C'awaci mission station. The vessel left after lunch, arriving at Suva at 5.30. She leaves Suva at 11 p.m. today for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday morniug.
