BRITISH RETAIL PRICES.
British Official Wireless. RUGBY, July 1. The total value of retail trade sales in May was 7.2 per cent higher than in May, 1935. The rise was most marked in suburban London. For the first four months of the trading year, the total sales were 6.9 per cent above those for February-May, 1935. Employment was 3.5 per cent higher than in May,. 1935.
