INCREASED TARIFFS.
HOTELS IN WELLINGTON. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. In order to meet increased overhead costs occasioned by shorter hours and higher wages, hotels in Wellington have reverted to the 192-1 minimum tariffs. These arc about 10 per cent to 12A per cent greater than those ruling during the depression years.
