SHIPWRECK AID SOCIETY.
AUCKLAND CREW TO BENEFIT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNK DIN, Tuesday. The Shipwreck Relief Society, immediately following the wreck of the Auckland scow Kapua on the north side of Wliangaparaoa Peninsula, inquired from its Auckland representative what assistance was considered necessary. It has been recommended that a sum of £5 should be paid to the captain of the scow, and £3 to each of the two sen men. The society has agreed to forward the moner.
