BIRTHDAY PARTY.
To celebrate their daughter Ruth's birthday, Mr. and Mrs. C. Edser, of Grafton, gave a party at their residence recently. Items given by members of the party included Western and yodelling songs by Mr. Cliff Churchill, who accompanicd himself on the guitar, also rendering accordion solos; banjo and ukulele duets and solos by Mr. Roy Day and Mr. Tom Brevin; an elocutionary item by Miss Jean Cramp; a duologue by Misses Ruth Edser and Elsie Harvey; and impersonations by Miss' Dorothy Cooper, who, accompanied by Mr. Roy Day, demonstrated several Eastern dances, in costume. During supper Mr. 11. A. Pritcliard proposed, a toast to the guest of honour. Among those present were: Mesdames Edser,. Cramp, Misses R. Edser, M. Edser, D. Boots, J. Cramp, E. Hawkins, E. Harvey, T. Harvey, D. Cooper, J. Savage, J. Dale, E. McCarthy, L. Gavin and Cydic.
