FINAL MEETING

BROADCASTING BOARD. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Friday. The New Zealand Broadcasting Board, which under the recent Broadcasting Act will relinquish oilice from next Wednesday, held its final meeting in Wellington to-day. All members were present. The board was reconstituted by the former Government in April, 1935, the membership being Mr. H. D. Vickery, chairman (Wellington), M. G. K. Hutchinson (Auckland), Dr. S. K. Phillips (Auckland), Mr. W. H. Cocker (Auckland), Mr. H. G. Livingstone (Christcliurch), Mr. J. L. Passmore (Dunedin) and Mr. E. Palliser (Wellington). Messrs. Vickery and Hutchinson have been members of the board since its inception.
