ANNUAL AT HOME.

OTAHUHU SWIMMING CLUB.

The Otaliuhu Public Hall presented a gay scene . on the occasion of t ] ie second annual At Home of t he Otaliuhu Swimming Club. The club colours, black ana gold, were the dominant feature of a line decorative scheme. Several large Union Jacks, in honour of the King's Birthday, were draped on the stage front, and the orchestral stand was trellised with club colour streamers, and flanked with tubs of bamboo.

Little Dorothy Arnold gave an exhibition of American tap dancing and was enthusiastically applauded. Mr. T. C. Hobb Jones, chairman of the Auckand Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, was in attendance, and presented the trophies won by members during the past season. Two prizes for a Monte Carlo dance were won by Mr. F. W. Grey and Mrs. A. Leydon. ! .. .. ..

The supper room was under the control of Mrs. R.' Allen and a committee, comprising: Mesdames F. W. Grey, W. H. Jameson, J. Squire, F. P. Arnold, E. Harris, and Misses M. Henwood, K. Grey, N. Grey, P. Nicholson and P. Matthews.
