Though pressure is high over Australia and the north Tnsman Sea rather vigorous depression is passing in the south. For the Dominion. For 24 hours from 0 a.m. this dayThe indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong to gale and backing shortly to south-west. The weather wi probablv prove squally and ehangea with scattered passing'showers at times. Barometer rising soon. Seas moderate to rather rough off shore. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was recen c from Tiritiri Island at noon to-dav. Wind. west, moderate; sea, modeia e > weather, cloudy and showery at times, visibilitv, fair; barometer, steady.
